Why People Get Married in Casa de Campo

CASA DE CAMPO IS...

7,000

acre private resort in La Romana, Dominican Republic. It's gated, it's quiet, and it has more going on inside its walls than most Caribbean islands have total.

Easy Arrive

Your guests fly into La Romana airport, which is five minutes from the resort entrance. No two-hour shuttle from Punta Cana. No fighting traffic. They land and they're basically there.

Full Access

And here's what makes a villa wedding here different from booking through the resort directly: you get the entire property to yourself. Your own cook, your own housekeeper, your own pool, your own schedule. But you still get full resort access for every guest. Golf, beach, restaurants, spa, everything. It's the privacy of a private estate with the infrastructure of a world-class resort behind it.

Golf

Three Pete Dye golf courses (including Teeth of the Dog, which consistently ranks as the best course in the Caribbean)

NCG Experience

Altos de Chavón

A full marina, an equestrian center, a shooting club, and Altos de Chavón, a replica 16th-century Mediterranean village sitting on a cliff above the Chavón River with a stone church that was actually consecrated by Pope John Paul II.

Ceremony and Reception Venues

You pick the setting. We handle the permits and coordination with the resort's events team.

Your wedding planner

A local planner who knows Casa de Campo inside out. They manage the timeline, the vendor setup, and the day-of coordination. You're not texting 12 different people the week before your wedding.

Photography & video

Full-day coverage from photographers who know the property, the light, and the best spots. Engagement shoots too, if you want them.

Food, cake, and bar

Private chef for the reception, rehearsal dinner catering, cocktail hour, wedding cake from local bakeries, and a full liquor and bar setup. We handle the menu tasting before you commit.

Flowers and decor

Bride and groom florals, bridal party flowers, parent boutonnieres, centerpieces, ceremony arch or backdrop, table settings, lighting, aisle decor, welcome sign, sparkler send-off. Everything.

Beauty team

Hair, makeup, nails, lash extensions, waxing. For you and the full bridal party. They come to the villa morning-of.

Music

DJ or live band, full sound equipment, your playlist programmed, special dance songs queued. If the venue needs extra gear, we bring it.

Villas that Work for Weddings

What a Wedding Week Actually Looks Like

DAY 1

Everyone arrives

Guests land at La Romana airport. Golf carts pick them up at the villa or hotel. Late afternoon, everyone gathers at the villa pool for drinks and food. No agenda. Just people meeting each other and settling in.

DAY 2

Golf, beach, and the rehearsal dinner

The group splits up. Some hit Teeth of the Dog. Some go to Minitas Beach. Kids go horseback riding at the equestrian center. That evening, rehearsal dinner at the Marina.

DAY 3

The wedding

Beauty team arrives at the villa at 8am. Ceremony at Altos de Chavón at 4pm. Cocktail hour in the plaza while the reception space gets flipped. Dinner, dancing, cake, speeches, sparklers. Done right.

DAY 4

The day after

Brunch at the villa. Pool day. Some guests go deep-sea fishing or take a boat to Catalina Island. You two disappear for a couples' massage at the spa. Nobody's in a rush.

Questions We Get a Lot

At least 8-12 months for peak season (December through April). If you're flexible on dates, 6 months can work. Popular villas and the Altos de Chavón church book up fast.
