CASA DE CAMPO IS...
7,000
acre private resort in La Romana, Dominican Republic. It's gated, it's quiet, and it has more going on inside its walls than most Caribbean islands have total.
Your guests fly into La Romana airport, which is five minutes from the resort entrance. No two-hour shuttle from Punta Cana. No fighting traffic. They land and they're basically there.
And here's what makes a villa wedding here different from booking through the resort directly: you get the entire property to yourself. Your own cook, your own housekeeper, your own pool, your own schedule. But you still get full resort access for every guest. Golf, beach, restaurants, spa, everything. It's the privacy of a private estate with the infrastructure of a world-class resort behind it.
Three Pete Dye golf courses (including Teeth of the Dog, which consistently ranks as the best course in the Caribbean)
A full marina, an equestrian center, a shooting club, and Altos de Chavón, a replica 16th-century Mediterranean village sitting on a cliff above the Chavón River with a stone church that was actually consecrated by Pope John Paul II.
You pick the setting. We handle the permits, the local comune paperwork, and every vendor.
Amalfi Coast, Italy
Guests land in Naples. Private cars or a group minibus bring everyone down the coast road, or we skip the road entirely and arrange boats from Naples. That evening, welcome dinner at the villa. Long table on the terrace, local wine, the chef cooks something simple and perfect. People start to realize where they actually are.
Beauty team at the villa by 8am. Late afternoon ceremony on the terrace or at a nearby venue. Golden hour photos while guests have aperitivo with Aperol spritz and local snacks. Dinner under the pergola as the sun sets. Dancing, speeches, cake, sparklers over the water.
Late brunch at the villa. A boat takes whoever wants to go to Capri for the afternoon, or people wander into the village for espresso and ceramics shopping. You two do whatever you want. The coast is still there.
8-12 months for May through September. The best villas and the most in-demand photographers book up a year out. Winter weddings are possible with shorter lead times, and the coast is stunningly empty from November through March.
